Even if you aren't sure which parts you need, we can help you find the least expensive options for all of your John Deere® machines.

Torque converter parts are the key components of any John Deere® skid steer loaders. A torque converter is responsible for using hydraulic power to increase torque and minimize draw on the engine's drivetrain. Torque is the amount of force produced by a converter at any given moment. To maximize torque, converters must harness hydraulic power to mobilize skid steer loaders, backhoes and other heavy machinery into action through the transmission.

The components of a torque converter include the pump, turbine, stator and transmission fluid. The housing that holds this part is typically securely bolted to the flywheel of the engine to match the turning speed of the engine itself for seamless operation. The spinning fluid inside the torque converter takes advantage of the power of centrifugal force to create a vacuum to keep fluid moving through the turbine (which is connected to the transmission). The result is power to the transmission, which moves the machine through its gears as it is being operated.
