Heavyquip provides a wide range of popular Undercarriage Components and Repair Parts for use on Dozers, Crawler Loaders, Excavators, Trucks, Wheel Loaders, and other equipment manufactured by Caterpillar, CNH, Deere, Hitachi, Komatsu and many other quality equipment manufacturers.

      Heavyquip is currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Parts Outside Sales Rep. for our Houston, TX location. Responsible for processing customer orders and responding to customer's inquiries, and questions regarding our parts; and seek remedies to ensure customer satisfaction and ensuring all orders are processed by the end of the day

  • Conducts territory part sales over the road but home at night.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, fax or email by determining material availability, conformance to customer requirements, quoting prices, and providing a reasonable delivery commitment designed to obtain the customer's order or expanded order.
  • Must be familiar with basic technical information related to heavy equipment to assist customers in their needs a plus
  • Must possess good decision making skills, be very organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to use a computer to look up parts and process standard business tasks.
  • Coordinate with customers, operations, traffic, purchasing and sales management to expedite or troubleshoot customer orders.
  • Cultivate a strong product and market knowledge, as well as knowledge of the customer's business and end use of material.
  • Ability to grow clientele base while effectively servicing current customers
  • Work with current sales and office staff in a team environment
  • At least two years of Outside Sales experience
  • Positive sales-oriented personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer Knowledge
  • Clean driving record with a current driver license
  • Pass background and drug screen
